Oklahoma State University, a public institution, was founded in 1890. The main campus is at Stillwater, with additional campuses at Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Okmulgee. Approximately 26,000 students are currently enrolled at the university. It offers bachelors, masters and doctors degrees, as well as the professional Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees.
